Is the honey necessary? Curious?
I am having my fist batch tomorrow. If you do not mind the spicyness, you can try it without the honey.
I have done some research re the honey, and as far as I can see it has a lot of healthy benefits, so I will use it.
How does it taste?
I made my first batch tonight and will have it tomorrow. I made one lire, and used only a pinch of paprika and added 1 peach cut in small cubes. Wanted to add crushed ginger but had none. Will let you know tomorrow. Preshana said her second batch she also used less spicyness and added a fruit to counteract the spicy taste.
Thanks!
😉
As promised, an update. I made a double batch last night, (1 litre) and had it on my desk at work today and sipped on it through the morning. Before I knew I drank a full 1 litre. It’s truly delicious with the added fruit and less spicyness. I made a second batch (again 1 litre) for tomorrow and this time I only used watermelon cubes in stead of a peach. I will soon get some fresh ginger and also add that in julienne strips. I just <3 it. Hope you will also enjoy it
Thanks so much for the update.
You’re welcome. Feel free to try it. I can recommend it.
