Ingredients:
1 ready rolled sheet shortcrust pastry
+~ 12 tsps sweet mincemeat
1 beaten egg( to egg wash)
icing sugar for dusting
Method
Gease a shallow muffin pan
Place the sheet of pastry over the pan and cut pastry horizontally and vertically to form squares.
Gently push pastry into each muffin case.
Place about 1 tsp of sweet mincemeat into the centre of each case.
Pull opposite corners of dough ends towards the centre and pinch together.
Egg wash and bake at 180’C until the dough turns a slightly golden colour.
Allow to cool and dust with icing sugar
