Rashida's Fruit Scones

Ingredients
4 cups self raising flour
2 tsp baking powder
150 g soft butter
1/2 cup mixed fruit
1/4 tsp salt
6 tblsp castor sugar
2 eggs
250 ml maas (sour milk)
Method:
Mix all dry ingredients and sift twice.
Rub in butter till resembles bread crumbs
Add fruit mix.
Mix egg and maas together and make a nice soft dough.
Pat down cut and shape.
Brush egg and bake on 180C for 15-20 min till nice and golden..
TO MAKE SELF RAISING FLOUR:
TO 1 CUP FLOUR add 2 tsp baking powder and sift, then follow recipe as is.
Serve with fresh cream and strawberry jam
