250g butter softened
1 cup castor sugar
3 cups sifted flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup milk
Pre heat oven 180°c.
Put all ingredients together and beat for 5 min until everything is incorporated.
Grease 20×30cm rectangular cake tin.
Pour batter and bake for 30 min or until done.
Cut in squares
2½ cups water
2 ½ cups icing sugar
4 tblsp coco powder
2 tblsp butter
For pink, dip in plain syrup and colour coconut
Combine everything together and bring to boil over medium heat, until slightly thick and syrup becomes sticky.
Cool slightly, dip squares in syrup and roll in coconut
