These are super yummy breakfast snacks.
Especially with home harvested honey right from our own bee hives.
Note due to the added sweetness it’s not advised if you are new to keto dieting as it hampers getting over your craving for sugar!
Ingredients
2 hard-boiled eggs
2 large raw eggs
1 tablespoon (15ml) egg white protein powder
2 tablespoons (30ml) unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon keto sweeter (swerve/xylitol) (I use liquid stevia 6 drops)
1/8 tsp fine sea-salt
2 tablespoons coconut oil
Method:
Place all ingredients except coconut oil in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Add coconut oil and pulse until nicely combined.
Use a waffle maker make to make 2 waffles.
I actually just use a sandwich press (George Foreman type) to make smaller lighter portions, getting about 8 longer shapes that roll nicely like crepes of sorts.
Serve with fresh whipped cream (strawberries if you want) and fresh raw honey 😋.
We got two types of honey this round.
A very pale super balanced honey and a darker citrus smelling honey with minty undertones. Delicious.
