Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar,
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
Beat together, then add
3/4 tsp almond essence
3/4 cup whole almonds
1/2 cup cranberries
13/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
pinch of nutmeg
Stir all together, it will be a sticky dough
Place a little flour on the work surface
Divide dough in two sausage shape logs
Place on a greased baking sheet
Paint with egg wash
Bake at 325 degree oven for 35 min
Remove tray and set aside to cool for 30 minutes
Slice with a serrated knife
Place back on tray, cut side up bake for 20 minutes on 325
