Jackfruit and peas, Jackfruit pickle and puri patha
Jackfruit and peas:
Steam cleaned jackfruit with salt and tumeric until soft.
Remove drain n set aside.In a pot put a little extra oil, once heated add a cinamon stick and chopped onions, once softened add half chopped tomato, few curry leaves , 1/4 tsp ginger/garlic paste and mix well.
Then add 1½ tsp chilipowder, 1/4 tsp tumeric, ½tsp garam masala , and salt.
Then add 1/4 cup frozen peas and the jackfruit.
Cover and let it cook and once it dries, add little water until peas are done.
Garnish with dhania!

Jackfruit pickle:
Steam cleaned jackfruit, with vinegar, salt and turmeric powder.
Once jackfruit is soft remove and drain, keeping some vinegar mix.
Dry jackfruit for a few hours.
Heat oil, once hot set aside.
Put dried jackfruit in a basin and add pickle masala, a tsp of chili powder, a few curry leaves, oil and mix well.
Puri:
Sift 2 cup flour with 1 tsp baking powder and salt.
Rub in 3/4 tsp butter.
Use enough milk n sour milk 2 make soft dough.
Make into balls and roll into rounds. Deep fry.
I used ready-made patta which I put in the oven @ 180C for 15 mins.
When its done, sprinkle lemon juice over.
I also fried onions and tomatoes.
To assemble I put 1 puri followed by a patha, fried onion and fried tomato and topped with a dip and covered with another puri.
