This is the best ever homemade teriyaki sauce and you can prepare this Simple Teriyaki Chicken Kebabs in no time!
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tb honey
- 2 cloves of garlic, smashed (or minced)
- 1 t ginger, grated
- 1 T cooking wine
- pepper
- red onion, quartered
- 1 chicken breast, boneless, skinless
Method:
- Cut chicken breast into cubes, about an inch in length.
- Mix the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and wine together (or use 1/3 cup of bottled marinade).
- Marinate chicken cubes for ½ hour.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 5 minutes.
- Skewer pieces of chicken and onion.
- Brush with remaining marinade or honey.
- Grill in a convection oven at 160C/320F for 20 minutes.
