This is the best ever homemade teriyaki sauce and you can prepare this Simple Teriyaki Chicken Kebabs in no time!
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 Tb honey
2 cloves of garlic, smashed (or minced)
1 t ginger, grated
1 T cooking wine
red onion, quartered
1 chicken breast, boneless, skinless
Cut chicken breast into cubes, about an inch in length.
Mix the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and wine together (or use 1/3 cup of bottled marinade).
Marinate chicken cubes for ½ hour.
Soak wooden skewers in water for 5 minutes.
Skewer pieces of chicken and onion.
Brush with remaining marinade or honey.
Grill in a convection oven at 160C/320F for 20 minutes.
