Who doesn’t love some freshly laid snow? Of course, I must be the first to leave footprints on it. We don’t get much snow anymore, but it’s a real treat when we do.
I totally agree Hugh. It’s something special, as we did not grow up with it in SA. Here in Canada and now in the Valley, we do get lots of snow and it should start soon. A year or two ago we were snowed in over Christmas and once just prior to that I had to go shopping and eventually did not make it back with my car to the house, so left it 2 blocks away and walked home with my groceries. Later than day my husband went back and after 3 or 4 tries eventually managed to get the car home. It did not last long as we usually do get rain and then it melts and washes away. Still fun and I must admit I am looking forward to it this year…. The snow not the stuck car
Those are some really lovely photos! I love the shining white of freshly fallen snow; particularly when it’s set against a beautiful blue sky.
Thanks for ‘snowing’ in here! Totally agree, fresh white and pristine powder snow – awesome.
All that snow fun is just around the corner!
Love fresh powder snow, but not so much when brown and slushy. Not sure if we will get to the mountains this year as we have moved away. We in fact do get more snow than before, so looking forward to it.
