A delicious Cape Malay dish which I am sure you will enjoy, so get out your apron and in the kitchen to whip up a batch of this Spinach Sweet Corn Lagan
200 ml Self-raising flour
½ teaspoon fine jeera
5 ml salt
½ teaspoon fine coriander
½ teaspoon turmeric
3 tablespoon melted butter
1 tin Koo creamed sweet corn
few chopped spinach
Mix all the ingredients well together.
Spoon in a greased round or square pyrex dish and sprinkle white poppy or sesame seed
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes on 180 C
Serve with a tangy dip
