A delicious Cape Malay dish that I am sure you will enjoy, so get out your apron and in the kitchen to whip up a batch of this Spinach Sweet Corn Lagan
PrintSpinach Sweet Corn Lagan
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 30 minutes
- Total Time: 35 minutes
- Yield: 1 Pyrex dish 1x
Ingredients
- 200 ml Self-raising flour
- 1/2 teaspoon fine jeera
- 5 ml salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fine coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 3 tablespoon melted butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 tin Koo creamed sweet corn
- few chopped spinach
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients well together.
- Spoon in a greased round or square Pyrex dish and sprinkle white poppy or sesame seed.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes on 180 C / 350F
- Serve with a tangy dip
