Strange #141 Senior Salon, but please do come and join!

It is strange, but true, that the most important turning-points of life often come at the most unexpected times and in the most unexpected ways.

Share with us your posts and tell your story in the comments at this Strange #141 Senior Salon event!

Well, why this STRANGE topic.

***This morning, as per my usual routine, I did my morning chores and then set out to get going on FB and to respond to threads and comments and share some posts in the Sharing, Inspiring, Promoting Bloggers: More Visitors & Community Support as well as Blogger’s Influence to find out to my utmost dismay and horror that all the threads I post in those groups (SIPB my own FB group, and BI, I assist as an Admin) have been “blocked” and FB stating the following:

This content isn’t available at the moment. When this happens, it’s usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people or changed who can see it, or it’s been deleted.

Well, I have not deleted it, it must be FB’s doing!! The verbiage in the threads still shows up but the pictures I have added with my group thread posts are missing and blocked, and instead, the above note can be seen.  I then checked and yes, low and behold, the same thing in both those groups.  I have not been more active than usual and do not post the same link on the same day in different groups, as I am aware that FB does not like it.

So now it seems like I may be in FB Jail and for no reason that I know of and I am not sure which of FB’s rules I have violated.  So, all I want to say, please continue to share your posts here.  I will still share it on Twitter, as it seems like I will not be able to share it on FB for now and do not want to antagonize FB further and hopefully, this can be resolved very quickly if I refrain from going there.  Please may I now more than ever ask you all to share and help one another.  I am not even sure if any of you will be able to share this post from my blog (as it may well be that my blog links are also blocked), but please do try and let me know what happens.  Thanks all.

HAPPY UPDATE AND EDIT:

I prepared this post yesterday, ***Saturday, and at that point, the above position still rang true.

Today, Sunday morning, when I woke up, I received a note from a fellow and blogging buddy and she informed me that all well in the land of FB posts again and that my posts have been restored and no further issues.

WOW, what an awesome message to see first thing in the morning, and when I checked in, verily,  all those posts with the This content isn’t available at the moment. When this happens, it’s usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people or changed who can see it, or it’s been deleted message seems to be working fine.

HIGH IMPORTANCE: Now you should be able and all fine again to share this post far and wide, please let’s get the linkup out and share all those awesome posts.  Come friends, we count on your support as always!  Thanks for always being here and sharing this and your posts as well as read and share those of your fellow bloggers!  This is what #SeniSal is all about:  More Visitors & Community Support, the same as what we promote at Sharing, Inspiring, Promoting Bloggers: More Visitors & Community Support

Please come over and join us on Facebook as well.

    • Dear Michele, Thank you for your support and sharing of your recipe here on #Senisal. Quick question: Would you be interested to participate and share your family’s favorite recipe for placement in an eBook? If so please email me a fully typed out recipe with pictures to es*******@sh**.ca As a thank you, you will receive a free copy in return.

Just to let you know that I’ve shared this on Twitter and to my blog’s Facebook page, and all was well. It looks like whatever landed on you has flown away now 😊
