Looks like a lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon. Enjoy your week and thankyou for visiting my blog last week.
Hi Jill, Thanks for popping in here. Yes we did have a lovely afternoon on the streetcar. Hope to see you tomorrow at the new linkup. https://esmesalon.com/tag/wordlesswednesday/
Have a wonderful week.
We used to have them where I now live, but sadly, they are now a thing of the past. The first ones were horse-drawn.
I enjoyed my rides on them when in San Francisco, though. Great fun.
Seen the one in San Francisco although did not have an opportunity to ride, so this was a huge treat. Thanks for popping in Hugh
A most delightful post, Esme!
It reminds me of the cable car I rode in San Francisco—such a classic and unforgettable experience.
Happy Thursday!
Yes indeed similar to San Francisco. Glad you enjoyed it.
The only time I experienced a streetcar was when I photographed a wedding. This one did not run on a track. It looked like your images above. It was a fun time.
Have a wonderful week.
Hi Debra, this streetcar did run on a track in the road. Lots of fun and have seen them in San Francisco as well.
Reminds me of riding the streetcars in San Francisco. Such fun and the views are amazing.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
