I had a lot of fruits in my fruit bowl in the living room. They were there for a few days as I had not eaten them. I thought, if I wouldn´t make something out of them they would be rotten. So, I made a smoothie and it was delicious.
Ingredients: 2-4 Persons
1/2 ripe Mango fruit slices
1 Kaki/Persimmon/Sharon fruit slices
1/2 Pomegranate, seeds
400 grams of natural yoghurt
How I made the smoothie:
Put the mango, persimmon and pomegranate fruits inside the smoothie maker.
Then add the natural yoghurt to the fruits.
Blend them well until it is well blended.
Kaki is a German name of persimmon.
I thought it is called Kaki too in other countries until I googled other names of this fruit.
Tips:
If you cut both sides of the ripe mango, just cut the mango meat crosswise and scoop the meat with a tablespoon.
You can eat the remaining fruit from the seed of the mango.
I just wash the Kaki and get off the green top of it.
Then slice the fruit without peeling.
Wash the pomegranate and cut it in the middle.
Then have a bowl of water where you can easily get off the seeds of this fruit.
Wear an apron. It could be messy.
You can use buttermilk instead of natural yoghurt.
If you don´t have a smoothie maker, use a blender.
