    • Hi Adelaide. Thanks for dropping in and yes they are so harmless to humans, and they eat the pests that wreak havoc in your garden, but I must admit when we initially saw the snake at the BBQ where we stood about ½ hour earlier it did take me by surprise but when we realized it’s only a small garter snake I was fine. It did not take long for the fellow to move away to a more comfortable and safer area.
