Vegetarian Pasta Casserole with Green Pepper
1 onion, finely sliced.
160g cooked macaroni.
1 green pepper, finely cubed.
2 tsp sugar.
1 tsp jeera seeds.
1 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tomatoes, grated.
1 tsp turmeric powder.
1 tbsp. curry powder.
Salt and pepper to season.
1 can 420g Baked beans in tomato sauce.
Method to prepare your Vegetarian Pasta Casserole with Green Pepper:
Heat some oil in a pot and add the onions and green peppers, saute until the onions are transparent.
Toss in all the spices and seasoning, give it a good stir, and allow to cook for a couple of minutes.
Now add the tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes become soft and start turning into a gravy.
Pour in a little water at a time to thicken up the gravy. I used a cup of water.
Followed by the baked beans and stir allowing the beans to cook for 10 minutes.
Add the macaroni and cook until the macaroni heats through and the sauce has been reduced
