Description

This chocolate mousse is creamy, light, and crazy easy to whip up in minutes. You’ll love how smooth it gets and the tiny crunch from an optional Oreo on top.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup 2% cottage cheese
  • 1 cup 3.25% MF old-fashioned buttermilk
  • 1 box (87g) Dr Oetker milk chocolate mousse mix
  • Optional: 1 Oreo cookie, crushed (1/2 per serving)

Instructions

  1. Toss 1 cup 2% cottage cheese and 1 cup 3.25% MF old-fashioned buttermilk into a Ninja blender.
  2. Whip until completely smooth. You might see tiny bits, but keep blending until velvety.
  3. Add the 1 box (87g) milk chocolate mousse mix.
  4. Blend for 30–35 seconds until it’s fully incorporated and silky.
  5. Pour into serving containers with a sealable lid.
  6. If you like a little extra crunch, crush ½ Oreo per container and sprinkle on top.
  7. Store in the fridge to chill and set, or dig in immediately if you can’t wait.

    1. Do try it Susan, I love it and nowadays have some in the fridge on a regular basis for when I want something sweet. No need to have a full portion, as one or two teaspoons full is enough for me.
