Zesty Instant Pot Chicken Thighs

Zesty Instant Pot Chicken Thighs, From frozen to ready to eat all done in the Instant Pot and oven in only 30 minutes.

How long does it take to cook thighs in Instant Pot?

For Boneless Thighs: Pressure cook on high for 8 minutes for fresh or 12 minutes for frozen thighs. For Bone-in Thighs: Pressure cook on high for 10 minutes for freshness, or 15 minutes for frozen thighs. Allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, then turn the valve to “venting” to release any remaining steam.

Can you put frozen chicken in an Instapot?

Yes, you can safely cook frozen meat in an Instant Pot because pressure cooking cooks foods quickly. Unlike a slow cooker, in which frozen food may stay in a dangerous temperature range for too long, the Instant Pot can quickly bring frozen food to a safe temperature.

  1. These sound so delicious. Lately, I’ve been using a lot of chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts. I don’t have an Instant Pot, but I’ve been considering one for a long time. (I also want an air fryer!) I don’t have a lot of counter space, so I hesitate to buy new kitchen appliances, but I think I would get a lot of use out of them. Pinning

    1. Hi Pam. I am sure that one can prepare this dish in another way in stead of the IP. I do not have one myself, but still want to try it in a normal way. Once I do I will update it. I only recently invested in am AF and must say that we do use it a lot. Do take a look at some AF recipes, we do have quite a number of them. When you prepare any recipe please let us know how it turned out via a rating a review. Thanks for popping in and always participating
