Self-Care Isn’t Selfish, Take care of yourself

Are you ready, for the new week of #80 Senior Salon

July 20, 02:00 am to July 25, 2020, 12:00 pm PST

We have a good number of entries for this past week, but rather disappointing to see the extremely low count of shares and reads on the posts.  Please fellow #SeniSal members, we implore you to read and share the posts of your fellow bloggers.  The more you give, the more you will receive.  This is part of Caring for one another!

What is Self Care and why is it important?

It means that you are simply being mindful of your own needs, so you are better able to support the people you care about. When you take care of yourself and are not stressed, you are better able to meet the needs of others. Selfcare comes in a variety of forms.

TOP 10 Senisal POSTS

If you wish to take another look please revisit #80 Senior Salon as we did receive a great number of wonderful posts.  The fact that the entries closed, does not mean that you are unable to visit and read, comment, and share those posts.

We respectfully ask for your support and help to share our weekly post on a Monday and throughout the week when you come to share your post via Inlinkz.  If you do not share and help #SeniSal will not be able to survive.  This is as much for you all as it’s for your hosts and we really ask for your weekly support in sharing the Monday post on your social media and add the #Senisal Banner to the post that you share and the Winner Banner when you made the TOP 10 list.

By sharing the TOP 10, I hope this will encourage you to make a conscious effort to get your post also listed in the TOP 10 MOST POPULAR LIST.  Instead of having the top 10 most popular songs, we now feature the TOP 10 MOST POPULAR POSTS.

  1. I think too often we associate self-care with spa days and Netflix binges, and we don’t want to feel wasteful and indulgent. But we all need white space in our calendars and time to think and breathe. It’s like the old saying about oxygen masks on airplanes–if you don’t take care of your own vital needs, you won’t be able to help anyone else.
