Ingredients

Units Scale

AF Chicken Skewers

Glaze

Lemon/Garlicky Potatoes

  • 2 potatoes washed, cut into wedges. (We’re only 2 people so you make according to family needs)
  • 1 tsp chicken stock powder
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Oregano
  • Potato spice
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Dash of oil

Instructions

AF Chicken Skewers

  1. Soak skewers for 30 minutes.
  2. Marinade the strips for 30 minutes.
  3. Fold strips onto skewers.
  4. Air fry at 180 degrees for 12 minutes.
  5. Brush with glaze halfway and turn. I don’t turn. (Original recipe said cook 12 minutes brush with glaze then another 7-8 minutes) but all Air Fryers differ – mine were well done after 12 minutes.
  6. Served with Lemon potatoes.

Glaze

  1. Mix and use as needed.
  2. This also served as a dip

Lemon/Garlicky Potatoes

  1. Soak wedges in water with a dash of vinegar.
  2. I do this while skewers are soaking. Drain and rinse.
  3. Cover with fresh water, lemon juice.
  4. Microwave until tender.
  5. Drain and strain and leave to dry.
  6. Add garlic powder, potato spice, paprika, squirt of lemon juice, (any spice you prefer) oregano and oil (while still in strainer). Toss.
  7. Arrange in between skewers and cook for same time as skewers.

Notes

Prepared, tried, and tested Melanie from The Recipe Hunter: Tried and Tested Recipes from Home Chefs.

I saw these Chicken Skewers on FB by a YouTube blogger. I didn’t get the name. It looked so easy and good, so I decided to try. As Air Fryers differ, check as mine were well done after 12 minutes.
