Do you boil vegetables before stir fry?

Blanch vegetables before stirfry

To prepare vegetables for stirfrying, blanching is the perfect way to jump-start the cooking process, especially for dense vegetables like broccoli or cauliflower (which usually take a while to stirfry and often get soggy).

Is a stir fry healthy?

Stirfrying is a fast way to cook small pieces of food in a hot pan or wok. … In addition to being quick and easy, stirfrying is also healthy. It results in tender-crisp vegetables that retain more nutrients than if they were boiled. And since stirfrying requires only a small amount of oil, the fat content is low.
