No Flour Gluten-Free Egg Waffle
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 15 minutes
- Total Time: 20 minutes
- Category: Breakfast and Brunch
Description
I made the easiest and most versatile "Egg Waffle" for the lack of a better name for a late breakfast. No flour, 3 simple everyday ingredients, and super easy and scrumptious.
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 large slice cold cut meat – shredded
- Spices: Parsely, Aromat or any salt, Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
Notes
I started this one very plain to see if the concept will work, and I am so happy, this was super delicious and my husband also agreed that it’s awesome.
Why are my waffles soggy?
Moisture in the ‘batter/egg mixture’ very quickly turns to steam and vaporize out the sides of the waffle machine. If the iron isn’t hot, it will not be the case, and the waffles will be soggy and squishy. To make sure your waffle iron is hot, turn it on and let it warm up while preparing the mixture, and that should not take you more than five minutes, and by that time the iron should be ready.

I will save this it looks so simple and my favorite seasoning is Arowmat.
Did not think that you will be familiar with Aromat. Yes, this recipe is so extremely simple but delicious and versatile to make. Enjoy and thanks for sharing
If it is the same knoor arowmat in a yellow pot, I sprinkle on all savoury’s, salads, cold meats, cheese and sandwiches. It is my thing 😋
Hi Ellen, Yes it is Knorr Aromat seasoning in the Yellow with Red lid plastic pot. Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aromat
What a great idea!
Thank you, Michele, I always have some in the freezer for those rushed mornings, you should give it a try
This is helpful for me especially that I am allergic to eggs. I have to try this soon.
Hi April. Thanks for coming back to leave your comment. Gremlins I tell you, but glad it worked this time.
Please note this DOES have eggs, just NO FLOUR
Opps why you are not using flour? I have to research more about it why. Thanks for sharing this.
Hi April. This is a breakfast egg deal, and I tried it out and you do not need any flour, this is perfect but if you prefer to add flour, I am sure a very small amount will not harm, but I can promise you in this particular recipe you DO NOT need flour.
I love eggs for breakfast, this looks like a great addition. Thanks for sharing.
Dear Justine. I am always trying to find new ways to spruce up an old favorite, like eggs. This is a winner in my books.
