Description
When life gives you ripe bananas, make caramel banana muffin bread. Sweet, soft, and packed with walnuts.
Ingredients
- 500g self-raising flour
- 1 can of caramel treat (a sweet caramel spread)
- 1 can of milk (I used 1% and measured it with the caramel can)
- 5 large, mashed bananas
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Mix everything well until smooth.
- Scoop the batter into 24 muffin cups lined with paper liners or pour it into a loaf pan.
- Let it rest for about 20 minutes before baking.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C).
- Muffins take about 20–25 minutes.
- If you use a loaf pan, bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
For a crunchy twist, press some extra walnut pieces on top of a few muffins before baking. Just press them lightly so they stick.
This recipe is easy, sweet, and perfect for using up bananas. Give it a try!
