Ingredients:
3½ cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon onion powder
125 ml melted margarine
1 teaspoon crushed garlic – I used store-bought
2 cups grated cheese
2 1/4 cups vanilla soy milk
½ cup frozen shredded spinach (cooked it in the microwave and added some margarine to it once drained from the excess water. Leftover from dinner and did not want it to go to waste).
Method:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine all dry ingredients, then add the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
Drop the batter onto a baking sheet (approximately ¼ – ½ cupful per biscuit) lined with parchment paper, depending on how big you want them.
Bake for ±20 minutes. Test with a toothpick.
Turn oven to broil, be careful, as it may burn. Leave till you see a nice brown color.
While your biscuits are baking, melt approx. 80ml margarine and combine with a dash of parsley and a dash of garlic powder (in fact anything you wish can be used).
Remove biscuits from the oven and brush with your butter mixture.
