Transform your mornings with the irresistible taste of Delicious Health Bran Rusks
Ingredients
- 1 kg Self-raising flour
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups oats
- 3 cups Shredded bran or All bran flakes
- 2 cups sunflower seeds
- 250 gr Seedless raisins
- 500 gr margarine
- 500 gr buttermilk
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Mix all dry ingredients.
- Melt 500 gr margarine in microwave.
- Add in 500 gr buttermilk and 2 eggs
- Add to dry mixture and knead well
- Divide the mixture in half and press into the 2 oven pans.
- Cut desired sizes before cooking (and again along the same lines after baking)
- Bake at 180C/375F for 1 hour.
- Remove from pans and lay on oven shelves to dry out at 100 degrees till crispy for 2 to 3 hours.
