Why would you prepare your own Homemade Taco Seasoning?
- If you have all the spices to make Taco Seasoning, then you’ll probably produce a better version of your favorite taco seasoning mix because you will be able to adjust the different ingredients to suit your own palate and preference. Try this one, I promise you that you will not regret it and to top it all it will take all of 5 minutes to prepare and then you have a stash to use later as well.
- The beauty of making your own Homemade Taco Seasoning is that all the ingredients are most probably already in your pantry as its basic essentials, and it will be adding such a rich, spicy flavor to all your other food.
- An added bonus to my mind: It saves you from having to go to the store in the first place and you only use what you know is good and have no nasties added into the mix.
Are Tacos actually Mexican?
Tacos are thought to come from Mexico, long before the Spanish arrived. Ancient Mexicans used freshly made, soft, flat corn tortillas and gave them fillings like fish and cooked organs. It was a staple meal that provided vital nutrients and energy to those who consumed it.
