- 1/2 cup icing sugar sifted
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- About 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup coarsely crushed almonds

- Preheat oven 180C / 350F.
- Cream butter, icing sugar, and essence add flour and cornflour to make a soft dough.
- Add crushed almonds and knead well to incorporate them into the dough.
- Take small pieces of dough, roll the length of your palm (about 5-6 cm long), and gently curve the edges inwards.
- Bake long enough to turn slightly golden in color, depending on your own oven.
- Dredge in caster sugar while warm.
