How to Make an Easy Vegan Biryani Cooked In a Microwave Oven

What goes with Biryani?

The biryani is a meal in itself. Served usually with raita, or gravy by the side, like a salad that tastes great with the meal. Pickled onions and cut cucumbers as well are served along with the biryani meal. Most often, in many households, biryani is a special weekend meal made on Sunday afternoons for lunch.

Biryani is a mixed rice dish originating among the royal khansamas of the durbar of Old Delhi, under the Mughal Empire, during the late 16th century of the then Mughal Court

This vegan biryani goes best with a cucumber salad made with marinated onions.

This aromatic Vegan Biryani is easy on the gut, is child friendly, and presents a wonderful play of colors and flavors. You'll be surprised how little oil is actually used to prepare an otherwise grand biryani that might require triple the quantity of the oil.
