How to make Maple Crunchies, with chopped pecans and mixed seeds, and an absolutely delicious snack.
Maple syrup is a syrup usually made from the xylem sap of sugar maple, red maple, or black maple trees, although it can also be made from other maple species.
- 100g butter
- 5 tbsp. Maple syrup
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 cup of oats
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 100 g mixed seeds
- ½ cup pecans, chopped
- Melt butter and syrup on the stove, set aside
- Mix the rest of the ingredients together.
- Add butter and syrup
- Mix well
- Press down into a greased baking sheet
- Flatten to the size you want
- Bake at 180C / 350F for 20 mins or until its brown
