Hi everyone,
I tried this Insane Crispy Orange Chicken Idea today, and I must say, I love it, it’s too delicious.
Instead of using orange juice (as per the recipe), I substituted and used 4 tablespoons of lemon juice and I added some chili flakes, as well as a tsp Masada, so go ahead and try this out and let us know what you think of this Insane Crispy Orange Chicken Idea.
And don’t worry if you don’t have orange juice for the sauce, as Chris has given us some great substitute suggestions for Low Carb Orange Juice.

My hubby LOVES orange chicken. This recipe looks like another keeper! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Laurie. Yes as you can see from the review, other friends already made it and raved about it. Once you made it, please will you rate the recipe and add your review for me. Thanks in advancee
I made this yesterday for our evening meal. My batter was egg free though because my Little Miss Nine has an egg allergy.
She’s starting to become more adventurous with her food so I was delighted that she enjoyed this with us.
We also cooked the rice in the left over chicken stock and added finely chopped red pepper. That’s as adventurous as we got with that part!
So all in all, a very successful Insane Orange Chicken dinner!
Dear Gloria, WOW thank you so much for your feedback and update. I am so glad to hear how you have changed and adapted you recipe. So happy that you all enjoyed it.
If possible may I respectfully ask if you will rate and add a review on the post for us. Thanks in advance
Could I shallow fry these? I don’t have a deep fat frier. Or oven cook maybe?
Hi Gloria, Thank you for checking this out, and, yes you can shallow fry it. I used a regular pan with a high rim and added a fair amount of oil (not only a thin layer) and it worked perfectly, you do not need to deep fry them. Please let me know once done how they turned out, as I would love to hear from you.
I sure will Esme!
Enjoy it and thanks in advance
