Ingredients
- 2 cups samp
- 1/4 cup sugar and kidney beans
- 1 kg mutton
- 1 chopped onions
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 3 tsp Kashmiri Masala
- 1/2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
- 2 bay leaves
- Few curry leaves
Instructions
- Washed and soak the samp overnight
- Steam with a little salt until soft
- I cooked the mutton separately and then added the samp to it
- Fry the onion in little oil
- Add bay leaves
- Then add spices, ginger, garlic, curry leaves
- Add mutton, salt
- Cook for 45 minutes, depending on how soft you like the mutton
- Add little hot water at a time as needed
- After 45 minutes, add samp
- Cook until the gravy has thickened
