Description

Crispy baked Peri-Peri Chicken Wings that beat takeout any day


Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 chicken wings, washed and dried
  • 3 tsp garlic and chili paste
  • 3 tbsp Portuguese Peri-Peri Rub
  • 2 fresh chilies, chopped
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh coriander and lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the rub, garlic chili paste, chopped chilies, olive oil, and lemon juice in a bowl. Add wings and coat well.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for deeper flavor.
  3. Heat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking tray with foil.
  4. Bake wings for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway.
  5. They’re done when golden and crisp, and the meat reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  6. Garnish with coriander, serve with lemon wedges, and add a side dip like garlic mayo or peri-peri sauce.
