Description

Craving for something spicy, delicious, and unique? Try these Peri-Peri Giblets! Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, each bite brings a burst of flavors that will make your taste buds dance. Don’t miss out on this tantalizing dish.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 pd Giblets (cleaned & rinsed)
  • 1 Bottle Nandos peri-peri Sauce
  • 1 Large Onion (chopped)
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 3 Whole Cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
  • 1/3 cup Cold Water (use as needed)

Instructions

  1. Clean the giblets thoroughly.
  2. Rinse, drain, and chop into pieces.
  3. Place the giblets into a pot, add in the cinnamon sticks, cloves, bay leaves and salt then pour in enough water to cover the giblets and allow it to boil till tender.
  4. Drain, remove the spices then rinse.
  5. In a pot, heat the oil and cook the onion until soft (no colour).
  6. Pour in the sauce and simmer for a few minutes, then add in the giblets and water, allow this to simmer further for a few minutes until thickened.
  7. Serve with a buttered roll/bread and enjoy!!
  8. *Add more water if you desire a thinner sauce*
