I think my sweet tooth will take me to grave some day, but still, I need to try this one out too 🙂
Mwah, one should indulge from time to time. Enjoy it
This sounds amazing! Nutella and Oreos have to be my top favorite chocolate type treats. What a great combination.
Hi Marysa – Thanks, I am so happy thank you dropped in and that you hopefully will try this out and let us know what you think of this combo. Enjoy
Wow Esme,
You trully have shared a treat for people with a sweet tooth. My question is, what ingredients can replace this recipe for people who need gluten-free, paleo, and sugar free?
I have not tested this recipe with any GF flour, but plantain flour is an up-and-coming paleo and gluten-free flour that makes delicious cakes, quick bread, and pancakes. You can replace all-purpose flour with a plantain flour cup for cup and add a ½ teaspoon baking soda per cup of flour to give it a better lift.
Which gluten-free flour is best for cakes?
Some of the most useful gluten-free flours include potato flour, tapioca flour, rice flour, cornflour and buckwheat flour, all with their own characteristics. Potato and cornflour have good binding properties whereas fine rice flour can be used to provide bulk.
What is a sugar free substitute for castor sugar?
In baking, coconut sugar is a great caster sugar alternative, as are some sugar alcohols like xylitol, as well as monk fruit sweeteners.
Please note that I have not tested any of the above, and these are only suggestions to try out.
Hope this will help you out.
That looks amazing!!
Joanne. Thank you for popping in. I hope that you will try this out. Enjoy
