Description
Whip up a batch of Veggie Magic Bacon Sprinkles, the kind that’ll make your taste buds do the happy dance. Let the magic start
Ingredients
- 1 cup TVP, Bob’s Red Mill GF Textured Vegetable Protein
- 4 tbsp. Kikkoman Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp. water
- 2 tbsp. Ontario Pure Maple Syrup
- 4 tsp. Wright’s Hickory Liquid Smoke
- 1 tsp. McCormick Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp. Clubhouse Garlic powder
Instructions
- In a tiny saucepan, toss all the ingredients (excluding the TVP) and let the concoction dance to a rolling boil.
- Once the potion reaches a bubbling crescendo, whisk it away from the heat, then sprinkle in the TVP. Stir the cauldron until every bit of liquid gets soaked up.
- Now, preheat your oven to a magical 225oF/110oC.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread your Vegan bacon bits evenly across this enchanted land and then into the oven, they go.
- Cook them for just a wink or two, then give the sheet a little shake (or spread them around with a spatula), we want these bits to sizzle in harmony.
- Repeat until they’re crispy golden but beware of the burn spell.
- And there you have it, a super duper easy and awesome recipe for Vegan Bacon Bits that’ll have you spellbound as of the first bite.
