#11 SENIOR SALON 2019
The bee collects honey from flowers in such a way as
to do the least damage or destruction to them,
and he leaves them whole, undamaged and fresh,
just as he found them.

Awesome – thanks for your participation Crystal. Tomorrow evening I will share the roundup post again
Thanks again Esme for allowing me to participate – and meet so many other Bloggers through their terrific posts!
I am so happy that you can at least share your posts here John. Hope you get the other issues resolved soon.
We had a swarm take up residence in one of our oak trees last year. I am hoping against hope that they made it through this winter. I loved having a hive nearby. And thank you for having all of us sharing our stories. What a delight!
Hi Gael, it’s just a pleasure and I love reading your stories, it’s basically all that I do get time for as working full time, does not leave me with a lot of spare time.
Last year I read a terrific book by artist Makoto Fujimura called Culture Care in which he compares us to bees, foraging for all the good and then bringing it back to our “hive” for the benefit of all. That image has really stayed with me!
Hi Michele – Thank you for sharing that tidbit regarding the bees. Yes, we are forever collecting not only food but all kinds of stuff. As long as we do it as the bees “undamaged and fresh, just as he found them.”
