Unlike some other baked products which may be better from a bakery, these Easy Chicken Shawarma Sandwiches with Double Cream are by far superior to that you will find at the grocery store! Just think of it, it’s super delicious to eat, and also extremely easy to make!
- 500g self-raising flour
- 100g butter OR Stork Bake
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp dried parsley
- ±2 cups Double Cream (medium fat) plain yogurt OR full cream plain yogurt
Mix the flour, salt, and parsley until blended.
Rub the butter into dry ingredients and form a dough with yogurt.
Cut the dough into 12 Balls.
Flatten with hand on a greased baking tray and bake in 180C / 350F in a preheated oven for ±15 minutes.
When cold slice it through the center and fill with any filling of your choice and you can also add some lovely and healthy salad with your filling.
Pile up high with sliced tomato and lettuce.
