Description

Taste the Best of Germany with these Chicken Burgers


Ingredients

Units Scale

Burger 

  • 4 Chicken Breasts (You can cut them into strips if preferred)
  • 4 Brioche buns
  • Cheese to your liking
  • Special sauce ** (see below)
  • Avocado cut into thin slices

Marinade

Coating for the chicken strips:

Special sauce ** for the burger:

  • 4tbs mayo
  • 1tbs Nando’s garlic sauce

Brioche Bread

You can make your own by using this recipe here


Instructions

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients and add the chicken strips.
  2. Marinade for the chicken breasts, a day before OR at least 4 hours before you want to start cooking.
  3. Place it in the fridge in a sealable plastic container.
  4. Mix the coating and add it to a large ziplock bag.
  5. After the chicken strips have been marinated, then add the chicken, give it a shake, and make sure the chicken is nicely covered.
  6. Once ready, deep-fry until it is cooked through.
  7. Now you can pack-n-stack your burger and enjoy!
  8. Feel free to use store-bought Brioche buns or make them, use this recipe here.

    • Hi Amy, Yes this does take some ahead of time planning, but easy to quickly to in the evening, then leave it overnight and prepare the rest the next day. Worth the extra effort. Enjoy.
