Homemade Diabetic Chocolate Treats

When you are diabetic but crave a sweet treat then you make these Homemade Diabetic Chocolate Treats, similar to Flipz (chocolate-covered pretzels) and roasted nut bark with both white & milk no sugar added chocolate.

Flipz is a type of confectionery created by Nestlé in 1997, consisting of salted pretzels covered in chocolate and other coatings.

Originally produced by Nestle in 1997 and made with Rold Gold pretzels, the brand was purchased by DeMet’s Candy Company in 2003 and has been produced under DeMet’s ownership since that time. DeMet’s has added a number of additional flavors to the original Milk Chocolate flavor. In 2013, DeMet’s was sold to Yıldız Holding.

  1. I would love to make these treats, Esme. I’ll look for that no sugar added white chocolate. (I’m not diabetic, but I am prediabetic, although I’ve lost about 20 pounds since my last lab work!)

    1. I hope you find the no sugar added chocolate. I will also have a look today on Amazon to see if I can find it for you and update the post with a link and then I will be honoured if you use that link to get some for yourself to prepare this treat. Please do check back through the day
