Melanie's Grilled Porterhouse Steaks and Vegetables


The boys at home know that if they see I’m making creamed spinach they’re in for a treat, but I didn’t make the usual same ole creamed spinach, I made Creamy Spinach with Blue Cheese Sauce to go with Grilled Porterhouse Steaks, Crumbed Mushrooms and Parmesan Rosemary Roast Potatoes.

Ingredients:
250g butter / good quality margarine
1 cup brown / white sugar
4 eggs

Rashida's Masala Chicken


Ingredients:
1 chicken washed and cut in bite size pieces
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
30 ml lemon juice

Melanie's Satay Chicken with Peppers and Mushrooms


I’ve always made Satay Beef before and usually it doesn’t include vegetables. I’ve decided to try Satay Chicken for a change, and add peppers and mushrooms. This is the method I was taught many years ago. The more modern version requires the Satay Chicken to be skewered and grilled, so this is my version. Regrettably, it was another one of my last-minute decisions, and I did not have spring onion to garnish.
