Instructions

Honey Mustard Pork Chops

  1. Add all this to the pork chops in a Ziploc bag and refrigerate for 6 hours (overnight preferably).
  2. Pat dry.
  3. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C.
  4. Place chops on a foiled-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Turn and spoon the mixture on the other side.
  7. Bake for a further 15 minutes.

Caramelized Onion and Garlic Baked Potato

  1. I steamed the potatoes (in my InstaPot until tender).
  2. Fried the onion and sliced garlic in a little oil with salt and balsamic vinegar.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients (except the cheese) in a jug until smooth.
  4. Season the potatoes with salt, cracked black pepper, and potato spice.
  5. Add the onions, pour over the sauce, and sprinkle the cheese.
  6. Bake simultaneously with the pork chops.
  7. The squash I also steamed in the InstaPot after removing the potatoes, added some butter, pinch of sugar, salt, pepper, and Aromat.
  8. Filled with Sweetcorn and dusted with paprika. Simple green salad with red jalapeno and homemade salad dressing.

Honey Mustard is your secret weapon and an awesome way to turn these chops into something really mouthwatering and amazing.

Honey Mustard Pork Chops

Why are my instant pot pork chops tough?

Pork chops are usually quite lean and will become tough once they are overcooked. For the best result, you will want to use bone-in pork chops that are well-marbled. The bone will act as a shield for the surrounding meat. A thicker cut of pork chop will work better in the Instant Pot as it is less likely to overcook.

How do you cook pork chops without drying them out?

High-heat frying sears them to a golden brown, and a moderately hot oven (400 degrees F) bakes the pork chops gently enough to keep them from drying out. This “sear-roasting” method is a great way to cook pork chops in the oven: Fry one side to a golden brown, then flip, and place the chops directly in the oven.

How can I tenderize pork chops quickly?

You can also use a meat tenderizer or any acidic fruit juices like lime, lemon, or pineapple juice. The acid penetrates the meat and breaks down the protein which tenderizes the pork chops.

Does cooking meat longer in a pressure cooker make it more tender?

The pressure will in fact make your meat super tender, almost as if you slow cooked it for the better part of a day.
