Stunning photos!
I would absolutely love to witness that in person.
Happy Friday, Esme!
Hi Veronica. For sure something spectacular and we are so happy that we were able to see it as it’s a once in a lifetime event for us. Hope you will have an opportunity to see it as well.
Wow! Those are amazing photos of the Aurora Borealis, Esme. Unfortunately, I missed the event as I was in bed when it happened. We were promised it would appear the following night, but my pictures didn’t show anything! Sad face.
Thanks for your kind words Hugh. We were fortunate so be able to witness it and as we are now our in farmland area it made it easier to see if without city lights close by as that did make it more difficult to see. We started around 9pm and drove out and only the third spot we tried worked for us. To us it’s a once in a lifetime event and we were out that evening till after midnight as we could not get enough of it.
Beautiful shots. Wow. I would love to see that in person.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Thanks, yes it was truly something spectacular to watch.
Beautiful photos! We also saw the Aurora Borealis but through our camera lens as our eyes could not see it on its own for some reason. It was such a wonderful!
Pat, we had to be outside for a while and get our eyes used to the colors. We were outside for almost 4 hours that evening, but so worth it.
Oh my goodness Esme, these are gorgeous photos! I looked every night but it was so cloudy here we couldn’t see anything.
Hi Maria. Thanks, we were truly blessed to be able to witness this in person. We left home around 9 pm and drove out to various spots until we found what we thought the best spot and stop on a farm round in the middle of the farm land area away from lights etc. and it was perfect and magic. Thanks for popping in on this post.
Wow, really great pics of the northern light. It should have been able to watch it here, too. But alas I missed the right time.
Have a good time
Violetta
Thanks Violetta, We made an evening out as it’s been on our bucket list for so long to see it and we decided that it’s a once in a lifetime event for us. We are truly best to witness it. Thanks for your kind words.
