What is a Fishcake?
A fishcake is a culinary dish consisting of filleted fish or other seafood minced or ground, mixed with a starchy ingredient, and fried until golden. Asian-style fishcakes usually contain fish with salt, water, flour, and eggs. They can include a combination of fish paste and surimi.
Why are my fish cakes falling apart?
Remove any bones from the cooked fish along with the skin, then flake the flesh into the potato-pea mix along with 2 tbsp of the cooking milk. Err on the side of a drier mix to ensure that the cakes do not collapse when you fry them
What do you eat with tuna patties?
These patties can be enjoyed in so many different ways, which is why we love these tuna patties so much. Serve them over a salad or some coleslaw, or as a side dish, and as an appetizer. You may even make tuna burger sliders with them!
