Ingredients
- 1 kg mince
- 1 packet of diced bacon, optional
- Green and red pepper
- Sliced mushrooms
- A dash of Salt
- A dash of Pepper
- A dash of Thyme
- A dash of Rosemary
- 1 tablespoon of Masala
- 1/2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- Lasagna sheets, uncooked
- 2 packet Knorr cheese sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 can tomato and onion mix
- 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese (as needed)
- 1 cup of Gouda cheese (as needed)
Instructions
- Fry bacon in little oil for 5 minutes
- In a separate pot heat oil
- Add mince and all the spices
- Add ginger and garlic paste
- Cook mince for 15 minutes
- Then add bacon bits
- Add mushrooms and pepper
- Add tomato paste and canned tomatoes
- Cook for 40 minutes on medium to low heat
- Next, make the cheese sauce according to the directions on the packet
- In a casserole dish, start to layer
- First, place lasagna sheets
- Then place mince over the pasta
- Then spoon some of the cheese sauce over the mince
- Then Sprinkle with a little of both kinds of cheese
- Place more sheets over
- Carry on until you have 3 layers
- You should end with the cheese sauce
- Sprinkle generously with cheese
- Cook in the oven at 180C / 350F for 60 mins
- Remove from oven
- Allow sitting for 15 minutes before serving
