Description

Experience the Zip of Vegan Mint Chutney on a Classic Chutney.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 bunch mint
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 1/2 onion
  • a few mustard seeds
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 red chili
  • 2 garlic
  • Few dhania
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind mixed in 1/2 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Fry nuts, and remove the skin.
  2. Wash mint leaves.
  3. Grind nuts in a food processor until fine
  4. Remove and keep aside.
  5. Grind together the rest of the ingredients, except for the onion and mustard seeds.
  6. Then gradually add nuts and blend together.
  7. Remove and place in a bowl.
  8. Fry onion until brown, and add mustard seeds.
  9. Once it’s cooled, pour over the mint chutney.
