Gail’s Crumbed Calamari

400 g frozen calamari strips ( or rings) thawed
Place calamari in a bowl cover with milk,
add 1tsp bicarbonate soda mix around and place in fridge to soften for 30 mins.
Wash calamari under cold water and drain on paper towels, dry thoroughly.
In a bowl place 1/2 cup flour and season with salt, black pepper, aromat, paprika, cayenne pepper, Cajun spice, coat the calamari with the flour.
The flour will coat onto the calamari, place in fridge for 15 mins before frying off then deep fry quickly in pan for no longer than 2 mins.
After 1 min turn to cook other side.
Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
