Garlic Butter Naan you can make in minutes with no oven.

Garlic Butter Naan

If you’ve only had naan from a store or takeout box, you’re in for a surprise. This homemade garlic butter naan is soft, warm, and full of flavor. You don’t need a tandoor oven or special tools. Just mix, roll, cook, and brush on the good stuff. It’s simple, fast, and way better than anything in a plastic bag.

Why Make This Garlic Butter Naan?

  • Big flavor, simple steps: Garlic, butter, and a little heat turn plain dough into something you’ll crave.
  • No fancy tools: A stove and a wire rack (or even a pan) are all you need.
  • Soft and chewy every time: Warm milk makes the dough extra tender.
  • Make it your way: Roll it thick or thin, triangle or round. You’re the boss here.
  • Goes with everything:  Serve it with curry, dip it in soup, or eat it straight off the pan.

Once you taste this, you’ll never want store-bought again.

Description

Garlic Butter Naan (Made at Home Without a Tandoor). Skip the takeout. This garlic butter naan is soft, buttery, and packed with flavor, and you don’t need any fancy tools to make it.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Naan

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons melted ghee (or butter)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Warm milk (just enough to form a soft dough)

For the garlic butter:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • Fresh coriander, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, melted ghee, and oil.
  2. Slowly add warm milk and mix until you get a soft, smooth dough, like roti dough.
  3. Cover it and let it rise in a warm spot until it doubles in size.
  4. Melt butter in a small pan, add the garlic, and let it sizzle for a few seconds.
  5. Stir in the chopped coriander and set aside.
  6. Divide the dough into 12 pieces.
  7. Roll each one into a triangle shape; don’t worry about perfect edges.
  8. Place a wire rack over your stove flame.
  9. Cook each naan directly on the rack, flipping to toast both sides until lightly charred and cooked through.
  10. Brush each naan with the warm garlic butter right before serving.

Why You’ll Love It:

It’s warm, soft, and full of buttery garlic flavor. No tandoor, no oven, just a pan and a flame. Once you try this, plain naan will never cut it again.
