Boil Dry Fish twice for 2 mins a time & discard the water after each boil (this is to get rid of access salt).
Fry the dry fish until done to your satisfaction.
Remove the fried fish from the pan and fry 1 onion in the same oil (add extra oil if necessary).
Add 1/4 tsp hing (aids with digesting gaseous foods),
½tsp of jeera seeds and 1 bay leaf.
Add 1 tsp tumeric,
1 tsp dhania jeera powder,
1 tsp ginger and garlic paste,
1 tbs bombay masala,
1 tbs kashmiri chilli powder and braise for +- 5 mins.
Add 3 potatoes that have been peeled & cubed curry leaves,
1 grated tomato, mix well with spices and cook on medium heat until potatoes are almost done.
Add 2 cans sugar beans (or 2 cups of boiled sugar beans), fried dry fish and cook on medium heat until all veggies are cooked through & gravy is thick.
Add water whenever necessary, a little at a time. Enjoy!
