Description
Are you ready to whip up the Absolute Easiest Crustless Quiche? This simple and delicious recipe will make your breakfast or brunch a hit!
Ingredients
- 250g Farmer’s Sausage (or any other meat of your choice)
- 3 large white button mushrooms
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1/2 white onion
- 2–3 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 cup green peas
- 1/2 – 3/4 cup shredded cheese
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2–3 heaped tsp. Maizena/Corn starch, maize starch, or cornflour
- 4 eggs
Instructions
- Prepare and chop up the first 6 ingredients and mix.
- Mix the milk with the Maizena until dissolved.
- Add to the chopped veggies.
- Add the eggs and cheese and mix through.
- Spray a large enough Pyrex dish liberally with spray and cook.
- Pour the mixture into your baking dish
- Bake at 350F/180C for ± 30 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- If you like a lot of cheese, sprinkle additional over the top.
- I only added cheese to ½ of the dish.
- Return to the oven, grill for another five minutes until golden, and serve immediately.
Note: I did not add ANY spices, as the farmer’s sausage and cheese had enough flavor. It’s totally up to you if you prefer more spices, but we found this to be perfect.
