Our Family Famous Chicken Pie was featured in Neighbors of the Woodlands Magazine from Texas.
In my wildest dreams, I never ever would have thought it possible to have a recipe for The Recipe Hunter FB Group and Blog to feature in a magazine.
One of our Facebook members Corne Nieuwoudt Garcia, a fellow Ex-South African member, now residing in Texas, and Publisher of Neighbors of the Woodlands contacted me at the end of February.
I was totally gobsmacked and in awe when I received her initial note in which she asked if I would be interested to submit one of my own South African recipes and to feature in her esteemed magazine.
Well, to cut to the chase, this is the end result and I proudly present you with a copy of the page printed in Neighbors of the Woodlands Easter edition.

Here is a link to the original Chicken Pie recipe posted on November 29, 2015.
I would love it and ask you to read Corne’s first resident letter to give you more insight into her
amazing magazine.
Corné, I am still on cloud 9 and will never ever be able to thank you enough.
