Fun on plate!
200g top side beef,thinly sliced
1 clove garlic,crushed
2 tsp dried mixed herbs
1/2 tsp paprika
1 onion finely sliced
3 tbsp white wine or lemon juice
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp olive oil
Salt and milled pepper
1 tbsp butter
4 soft roll ( i used the buns i baked) lightly toasted
4 eggs
1 roma tomate sliced in quater for serving
1. Marinate the beef slices in garlic,mixed herbs,paprika,onion,soysauce and lemon juice or white wine and hal of the olive oil and seasoning for at least 30 minutes.
2. Heat a nonstick pan with a little olive oil and butter over medium heat. Remove the beef from marinade and quickly sear on both sides to your liking. Remove from pan and set aside. Add marinade,including the onions, to pan. Simmer until sauce has thickened and onions are cook through. Heat oil in another pan and fry eggs to your liking.
3. Spread bread rolls with onion sauce,top with steak,egg and tomatoes and serve.
